This is my story

Throughout my life I have always had two loves, Travel & Photography. For some time I had the thought of combining the both and so this is why I have created this web site so as to be able to share and show people from all over the photos that I, along with two other family members have taken and some of the places we have visited down through time on our travels
Over the years I have been lucky enough to have been able to visit some very spectacular and special places both here in this wonderful place we call home, Australia, along with close countries like New Zealand, South Pacific, Melanesia, also other places like the Tonga, Western Samoa, Kiribati or Christmas Island as it is better known and, Hawaii and now of Hong Kong, Viet Nam, Singapore, and finally a return visit to Darwin, Rounding Cape York to Pt Douglas and Barrier Reef then Whitsunday Passage and lastly a return cruise to New Zealand from which I take and have many very fond memories of these places
My favorite mode of travel usually is to fly or cruise, with my favorite cruise lines being Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean , and P&O to a lesser extent. From the beginning in 1990 I did several cruises to the South Pacific Islands on the now defunct Sitmar Lines ship "Fairstar", I am sure there are a lot of people like myself that have good memories of the late 80's early 90's cruising and now know cruising has come a long way since those days. When Sitmar closed I decided to move over to P&O for a few years until I felt that these became ships for the younger age groups like the 18-40 range or they were marketing more towards the young family type and steering away from older people so I moved on and now have sailed with Princess Lines since 2009 mainly using the Sun and Dawn Princess. With Princess selling the Dawn Princess to P&O to become Pacific Explorer,in 2017 I made a decision to branch out and to go try the big cruise liners of Royal Caribbean with ships like Voyager, Explorer of the Seas with close to 3500 passengers and Ovation of the Seas with 4350. these ships are American based and are like huge floating resort type ships which can be a little daunting for the first time cruisers.
Down through the years I have also driven many road miles here in Australia to travel to all states and used many forms of accommodation styles, like motor home, towing a caravan, tent camping, hostel, hotel, even sleeping rough on the beach a couple of times. When I visit these places preferred to stay in the accommodation style that reflects the town or city and its area.
It is both impossible and unfair to single out just one particular place as my favorite all time place I have been to and have seen simply because each place is just as special as the next with its own little bit of Splendor, Beauty, Remoteness, Ruggedness, and Color. Here is a country that is so diverse in every aspect that makes some other countries envious of what Australia has. and after visiting other overseas countries it just make one so happy and glad to appreciate what we have here in Australia.
While saying that though, if I had to select one area, for me personally, it would be the Kimberly and Purnulu Ranges area of West Australia which I really love for its remoteness, land forms, colors.
So may I say to everybody who comes to view my web site, please take your time to browse through and enjoy the sites just as much as I did in reality. I also hope that by your interest they may entice you to perhaps take time to maybe visit these places one day in the future to see also in reality for yourselves
All photographs used in this site have been taken by myself over many years, with several exceptions ... those found in Around The World, Canada, and Mediteranian Albums .... these were taken by other family relations who were kind enough to let me include them on this site for others to view along with my own photos.
If there is any particular photo that you may like and perhaps would like to have, please feel free to email me, at the address found on the Home Page and we will let you have it
If you have enjoyed what you have seen please keep coming back often to visit and see if I have added new photos from time to time or maybe see if I have made a design or layout changes perhaps.
Cheers to all my friends and all who take the time to visit my site
Happy Viewing
